Puan Norashikin binti Mohd Kassim was appointed as a board member of MDV on 2 October 2025. She serves as the Independent Non-Executive Director of MDV.
Puan Norashikin has over twenty-seven (27) years of experience in finance, encompassing banking, insurance and asset management. She is recognised as a leading practitioner in global markets, having made significant contributions across various financial institutions among others, Citigroup Investment Bank Singapore, Standard Chartered Bank (M) Berhad, Kuwait Finance House Malaysia Berhad, CIMB Principal Islamic Asset Management, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad and ING Berhad (formerly known as Aetna Universal Insurance Berhad).
Puan Norashikin is an existing Board member of ORA Global Sdn Bhd since December 2024. She is also an Independent Non-Executive Director at MBSB Investment Bank Berhad where she is an existing member of several Board Committees such as Audit Committee (Chairperson), Risk Committee and Group IT.
She holds a degree in Mathematics (Hons) from Oxford University, England. She was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) i.e. the professional chartered financial analyst qualification from CFA Institute, United States of America. Puan Norashikin also obtained Masters of Sciences, Actuarial Science from City University of London and Masters of Sciences, Islamic Banking and Finance from Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance, International Islamic University Malaysia.
