TM Net targeting 900,000 broadband subscribers

KUALA LUMPUR: TM Net is targeting to have more than 900,000 broadband subscribers by the end of the year, said general manager Dr. Fadhlullah Suhaimi Malek.

This was achievable as at the end of June this year TM Net had 690,000 broadband subscribers and was currently averaging roughly 40,000 new subscribers a month, Fadhlullah said.

He was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of Malaysia Debt Ventures Bhd (MDV) Business & Technology Speakers’ Series – Triple Play: Exploring Potentials and Monetizing Opportunities, on Wednesday.

“Triple play” refers to the convergence of voice, video and data services over a single “pipeline” or connection.
