Ahmad Shukri has over 30 years of experience in risk management across various institutions. Prior to his current role, he served as the Chief Risk Officer at Bank Rakyat Malaysia Berhad. He also held the position of Head of the Risk Management Department at OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad and was the Vice President of Retail Credit Operations at Al-Rajhi Banking & Investment Corporation (Malaysia) Berhad. Additionally, he has held key roles at Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, including Head of the Financing Management Section and Head of Credit Risk Management.
Ahmad Shukri holds an Executive Master in Islamic Banking and Finance from Asia E University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Finance from Texas A&M University. He is a Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance and has a Certificate in Islamic Law from the International Islamic University Malaysia.
