Encik Aznul Shazri bin Abdullah was appointed to the Board of MDV on 23 May 2023 and serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
Encik Aznul is the Chief Executive Officer of Bayo Pay (M) Sdn Bhd, and previously served on the Board of DanaInfra Nasional Berhad, an infrastructure funding company wholly owned by the Minister of Finance (Incorporated).
Prior to this, he was the Head of Project Finance Advisory and a Director in the Investment Banking Division of Kuwait Finance House (M) Bhd, where he advised the Government and concessionaires on project finance transactions, including project structuring and fundraising for a wide range of infrastructure and concession-related projects.
Encik Aznul spent several years in London, United Kingdom, with an international advisory firm, where he served as a consultant in the Project Finance Modelling and Advisory practice.
He is a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA) with over twenty-five (25) years of professional experience spanning audit, project and structured finance advisory, Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), and corporate finance.
Encik Aznul holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and completed his professional accounting training with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
