MDV appoints Lee Kah Choon as non-executive chairman

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Debt Ventures Bhd (MDV) has appointed Datuk Seri Lee Kah Choon as its new non-executive chairman, effective Dec 13.

Lee succeeds Tan Sri Zarinah Anwar, whose term of service ended on July 21 this year.

In a statement today, MDV said Lee is currently a board member of various state government-linked companies, where he is actively involved in charting the policy direction of these corporations and their many strategic decisions.

“He also sits on the board of various private companies across industries such as commodity trading, food production, tourism, property development and wealth management,” the statement said.

MDV is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Minister of Finance Inc.
