MDV adopts new loan management system

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Debt Ventures Bhd (MDV), a wholly owned subsidiary of Minister of Finance Inc, has signed an agreement with Innovation Associates Consulting Sdn Bhd (IA) for a loan management system.

The agreement was an effort by MDV to handle larger volume of transaction and expedite its loan-related processes, the two companies said in a joint statement yesterday.

According to MDV managing director and chief executive officer Md Zubir Ansori Yahaya, the new system will enable the company to operate more efficiently.

“Being the country’s innovative financier and development facilitator, we realise there is a need to improve our system to accommodate the growing number of loans we have to process each year,” he said.

The system, he added, was of international standard and had been used by various financial institutions in the United States and Europe.
