Nizam Mohamed Nadzri, Senior Vice President, Corporate Services & Business

Nizam is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Services and Business Division at Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad. Corporate Services core functions are to manage and enhance stakeholder and partner relations; structure and develop new product; evaluation and improvement of MDV’s processes and methodologies; formulate and monitor implementation of corporate strategies and action plans; and develop and implement PR and communication activities.

He was previously the Vice President for Transactions under the Malaysian Biotechnology Corporations’ Industry Development Division. Transactions Unit is tasked with the evaluation, structuring, and packaging of deals for targeted potential investors that fall under the category of Priority BioNexus Applications.

Prior to this, he was the Head of MESDAQ Unit of the Securities Commission which is responsible for suitability assessment of MESDAQ Market applicants and previously the Head of Issues Department of Bursa Malaysia, covering assessment of applicants’ technology-based activities, business models, financial performances, business potential, research and development, product development plans, adequacy of disclosures and corporate governance. Before heading the MESDAQ Department, He was Head of CEO’s Office of Bursa Malaysia, advising the Executive Chairman on operational, financial and regulatory matters with respect to the Exchange, clearing house, central securities depository and other business units. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
