Encik Md. Zubir Ansori Yahaya, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer

Zubir is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad (MDV), a position he held since 2005. Prior to that, he was the Vice President, Operations. MDV is a Government owned Premier Innovative Financier providing debt financing with equity convertible options to the ICT, Biotechnology and Green Technology sectors. With total funds of RM3.1 billion, MDV has approved over RM5 billion worth of projects to more than 450 technology companies.

Zubir has with him a total of 29 years of management experience in various sectors including Aviation, Transportation and Logistics, Trading, Corporate Consultancy, Education Multimedia and Financial Services.

He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from National University of Malaysia (UKM) and is a Chartered Accountant (M). He also holds a Certificate of Banking and Managerial Process from Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Apart from playing his developmental role as financier in high growth sectors in MDV, Zubir is also very active in pursuing this cause through the various Committees that he sits in notably the Local Advisory Panel for MSC Malaysia, Funding and Enabler Sub-Committees in Biotech Corporation, NEF Advisory Committee.
