Encik Maliami Hamad, Non-Executive Director

Maliami was appointed as Director to the Board of MDV on 6 August 2009.

Maliami is currently the Deputy Secretary for Loan Management at the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia. He began his career with the Government of Malaysia in several Private Secretarial posts before becoming the Assistant Director of Economic Planning Unit in the Prime Minister’s Department from 1983 to 1989. Then he served in the Ministry of Finance as Principal Assistant Secretary in several various Divisions including Debt and Investment Division, Loan Management and Financial Market and Actuary Division.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Oklahoma City University and a Bachelor of Arts (Geography) (Honours) from the University of Malaya.

He also serves as Director to the Board in several organizations like Encipta Ltd, Financial Reporting Foundation and Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd.
