Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad (MDV) will be organising its first Open Day in Penang ‘MDV Tech Funding Day’ for technopreneurs and technology companies in the Northern Region. The event, which is in collaboration with Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) will take place on 21 May 2014 at Sains@USM.
The Open Day aims to provide opportunities to technopreneurs and young start-ups across the technology sector including ICT, Biotech, Green Tech and high growth sectors to gain knowledge and insights on MDV’s financing schemes, applications, consultancy and advisory as well as other support services. Participants will also have the chance to learn about other funding opportunities, current economy and business outlook from agencies such as CREST, SME Corp, Bank Negara Malaysia, NCIA and more.
Besides sessions by MDV and the agencies, the full day event will also feature mini exhibition by successful technopreneurs and companies to showcase their products and services. Participants may also attend one to one consultation with MDV and other agencies to enquire specific requirements and information about the financing schemes to fulfill the financial capital needs.
