Adrian Khor Yew Meng was appointed as Executive Vice President of Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad on June 1, 2010 and is overall responsible for the financial management, loan portfolio administration and asset management of the Company.
He joined MDV as a Financial Controller of Malaysia Debt Ventures Berhad (MDV) on August 19, 2002 and was overall responsible for the financial management, accounting and administrative operations of the Company. He also acts as the Joint Company Secretary.
Prior to joining MDV, Adrian was Finance Manager and Company Secretary of Rediffusion Berhad (RB), a company listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE). He also sits on the Risk Management Committee of RB. At RB, he was responsible for the overall financial management and its subsidiaries as well as being involved in compliance matters pertaining to the KLSE’s Revised Requirements.
Adrian started his career in 1993 with Deloitte KassimChan, one of the top international accounting firms specializing in the area of audit and systems. He rose from a junior position of an Audit Assistant in 1993 to an Audit Senior in 1996 before seeking a challenging role at Rediffusion Berhad. He has vast experience in the area of financial management, financial analysis and accounting operations gained from a diversified industry including ICT, telecommunications, broadcasting, media and manufacturing.
Adrian is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), United Kingdom, and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
